Bert Van Dael
Bert is the writer and creator of the award-winning series 'The Twelve' described by Ricky Gervais as 'one of the most complex, nuanced and gripping courtroom dramas I've ever seen’.
In 2016, Bert was the creator of Series Mania’s audience award winner, 'Hotel Beau Séjour'. Stephen King called it "Eccentric, brilliant, and strangely touching." Van Dael began his career co-writing 'Clan' with Malin-Sarah Gozin, a dark comedy series adapted at Apple as 'Bad Sisters'.
In 2020, he founded Wilder Content with Tim Mielants. Bert produced and created 'Exes', the first Wilder Content tv-series, and co- produced ‘Small Things Like These’ with Big Things Films and Artist Equity.
